Graphic design is a language, with its own grammar, rules, orthography, composed by colors, volumes, shapes, with its own rhythm and an unique capacity to communicate.

Web design has greatly evolved since I made my first webpage in 1995; new technologies appeared and faded out silently, new services and systems are offered, and the control over layout improved dramatically in these few years.

Far beyond the capacity to "draw", illustration is a way to communicate, to open your soul, to share your thoughts with the viewer through a language that shares many elements with graphic design.

I feel fascinated by the capacity of cartoons to communicate: they incarnate our strong and weak points, because they are nothing but a cartoonized version of ourselves.
