I've got many ideas for comics, cartoons and even some flash-based animation, but I'm not working of them for different reasons. One of those reasons is that I'm busy with other projects already, and I'm not doing any Flash animation until I can change this venerable computer I use for something powerful enough to handle Flash syncronization properly.

This tender and innocent looking kid loved drawing funny animals! One of the ideas I have to develop a comic, or a series, features the little cute kangaroos I usually draw, but this time on the role of foes. I want to feature them as part of soke kind of eeeevil organization with eeevil purposes. As you can see from the picture at the left, I used my kangaroos on such a plot before.

Back in 1992, I drew a short-lived series of comic strips featuring a hippopotamus Indiana Jones rip-off, searching for silly treasures around the world, while being spied closely by an eeevil organization to find funds. That eeevil organization was nicknamed "Black Kangaroos" (later renamed "kangaroos in black"), and their purpose was "to get rid of the alien species out of Kangaria (also known as Australia) and to create the big Kangarian Empire, since we all Marsupials are superior to the rest of living beings". These eeevil ideals would be always spoiled by the incompetence of the cute, yet inefficient, agents of this eeevil organization.

I don't know if I'll ever go and make a comic with those 'roos in black, but the idea is still rounding my head.

Another project I've got shelved and waiting for more attention is the sequel to "Three Apples", the first serious comic I have drawn. I've got a few ideas to make this comic, for instance, the appearance of Alice Otter, the hyper otter girl on the storyline; an international chase that will take the characters to a bizarrely strange land, and the reappearance of the psycho characters that gave the first comic such a bizarre and surrealistic look, like the skunk-hating crocodile and the gun shop clerk. I may go ahead with this project if I find an interested publisher.

I also want to start fiddling with Flash, to make silly musical clips and practice with Flash and traditional animation, so I can think about more ambitious projects in the future... Among those advanced projects, I have the idea of making small movies featuring the characters of my "8 bits" series on full motion.

However, I've got strong problems to embark on such a project... I only have access to a very dated computer that doesn't even synchronize Flash movements with music, so it's a total mess. I'll have to hold that project until I find a replacement to my main computer. Ohwell.
